I decided to design an infographic on the Suzzallo and Allen Libraries at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. Hence, I decided to choose a model that  primarily uses the official UW colors - purple and gold. What better than an infographic designed for UW itself? I found this great one designed for the Information School at the UW (As a matter of pure co-incidence, I myself am a Graduate Student in Information Management at the UW iSchool!). So, my color model was chosen. However, I chose this as my layout model as well because I really liked the simple yet professional 3-column layout of this infographic. As for typography, I liked the text elements in this model as well as they were purple in color - the primary UW color. Hence, starting with color, I ended up chosing this same model for emulation of my Color, Typography as well as Layout.
