Numbers
These displays show the electricity power consumption in the Suzzallo and Allen Libraries of the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, using different graphs and charts.
Location
One set of displays show where the average sensor readings are higher, while the other set of displays show where the Suzzallo and Allen Libraries are located on the UW - Seattle campus.
Appearance
These visuals show how the Suzzallo and Allen libraries appear pictorially and also how their floor plans look.
Relationships
These visuals show the various categories of space usages in the Suzzallo and Allen Libraries' Buildings, using a hierarchical tree diagram and a venn diagram (bubble chart).
Time
These are timelines that show the gradual evolution of the Suzzallo and Allen Libraries.
Layout
This display is a culmination of all the other visual displays exploiting the visual potential of numbers, location, appearance, relationship and time. A total of 6 displays have been used, 2 of location and 1 each of the rest. Also, 3 icons, exploiting the visual potential of appearance have been designed for each of the 3 columns.
